Free College Tuition in Indiana

The state of Indiana kicks off National College Application Week sponsored by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education by waiving the application fees for 15 state colleges and universities. From September 23 through September 27, the free application timeframe will last for one entire week. This is the first time that Indiana is celebrating the event for a full week versus only one day since they became a part of the American College Application Campaign in 2013, as reported by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education

Starting next Monday, the colleges listed below will not be instituting application fees for the week in an attempt to help low-income and first-generation students have greater access and ability to try and pursue higher education after the completion of high school.

  • Indiana University Kokomo
  • Indiana University Northwest
  • Indiana University South Bend

  • Purdue University Fort Wayne
  • Purdue University Northwest
  • University of Southern Indiana
  • Vincennes University
  • Wabash College

In addition, there are an additional 17 Indiana-based colleges that offer year-round applications at no charge.
